gryzze: thanks so much for sharing this with us. i'm going to ask the question that i'm sure others are going to ask - are you going to re-upload the keizoku series in dvd format? :roll

I wish I could but the whole series is priced at ~220USD, which is too much for me right now after buying the special and movie.

Maybe starting a donation could be an alternative? :-)

Btw, does the movie ban include movies directly related to doramas?

Did the DVD come with Japanese subtitles (close captioning for the hearing impaired)? That might assist in making English subs.

BTW, does this special add anything to the story or is it one of those "behind the scenes" and recap of favorite moments specials?

Now I had better stop before my questions start becoming annoying. (or am I too late?)

Thanks for the upload, gryzze.

@MimicNo3: Hey, calm down with the questions :roll :-)

Now to answer them...

1) The DVD has no subtitles whatsoever, unfortunately.

2) In this special there's a new case and the story continues where the last episode left off...

Well, then, "zannen desu ne" to the first and "ureshii!" to the second. Hopefully my faultering Japanese ear will see me through. Download commence!

Thanks again :).

gryzze: the movie ban is very strict on any mpaa-related movies. 'made-for-tv' movies or movies that were never released in the theaters are usually allowed here.

what's the name of the keizoku movie?

@jholic: I believe it's called Keizoku - The Movie: Beautiful Dreamer.

I don't think it falls under MPAA, but I'm not sure...

I could post the movie as well if it doesn't violate any rules...

Thank you so much for this, and Beautiful Dreamer.

I already had both, but neither with subtitles. And boy did I need them.

I just finished watching Beautiful Dreamer with subs, and they filled in so many small points for me it was like getting to watch a whole new Keizoku movie.

I hope one of these days you get a chance to do the subs for the special. But that's just because I'm greedy.

Again, thanks for these.

These timed subs(korean) are divided into 2 parts(but they are also synch to DVD rips) so if you can rejoin the 2 srt files or anyone else can rejoin if the subber doesn't know how to:

@tianj: Thanks for supplying us with the timed subs (like always) :-)

That would be great... :D

I'm new to this myself but let me know if you need any technical help. For instance, I could rejoin the .srt:s for you and I could do the quality checking if you'd like... :lol

I could do all of the timing (using the supplied subs) if you want to concentrate on the translation alone. In that case just send me a text file with the subs... :-)
