I tried to drop the folder into the VLC Playlist box where it says "Drop Media Here". However, nothing happened.
I then took each file from my downloads folder and put each file into the Playlist box
The .jpn.srt file still shows duration of 00:00
Unfortunately, the YYeTs file automatically changes to YYeTs.srt and shows a duration of 00:00
There are 2 files in the playlist. The only difference is that one file lacks "jpn". However, they both have the srt extension.
When i try to play either of them, nothing happens. Not sure if a screen shot would help. This is my first time doing this so maybe I'm missing something. I very much appreciate your help. I am disabled so this video means a lot to me. I need to eat dinner at 6:30 pm (20 minutes from now) It takes me about 1 hour to eat, so I would be free around 7:30.
You are supposed to have one video file, and one subtitles file in a folder. Videos can be found at Nyaa

If you by chance show the file extensions on your computer
it should be
