Gankooyaji and bakaman,

Thanks for the warm welcome. :)

LanceSalmo,

I think that's because the file name is in Japanese, since the raw I used to sub had also Japanese file name.
You can rename it to whatever the raw you have. It should sync.

Thank you for subbing this drama.

I've been wanting to watch this ever since I saw it available, however I will wait until all the subs are complete (not to push you in any way-I know what a monumental task it is to sub a drama) until I begin. I don't want to become engrossed in a series only to have the sub contributions delayed/stop i.e. Saikou no Rikon--again, I cite that as an example of how frustrating it is to not be able to continue on to the next, as of yet, subtitled episode--not to criticize or pressure the subtitlers.

Thank you in advance for taking on this whole project. And also a shout-out to the subtitlers of Saikou no Rikon -- Ganbatte kudasai!

Otsukaresama.

Yup, the cast it what making this show interesting.

Those who can't stand slow release, I recommend to wait till I finish all.
It will take a while to finish, as I'm pretty busy.
But I have every intention to finish. I won't leave you hanging.

Gosh, I kind of loved everything about this drama (except for the sandwiches, oddly enough). Just, everything was so good, this is what a slice-of-life drama should be. If people liked this, I recommend Kamome Diner, also with some of the same cast as this.

Thanks again for subbing this wonderful drama, I hope more people will give it a chance.

I can confirm that Kamome Diner is very nice -- just as slow paced, just as quirky and just as dedicated to the principle that a simple meal prepared with love (in this case, onigiri) will solve any problem in the world! :D

So I finally got around to watching the entire series in one sitting and all I have to say is, "Wow"!

It definitely catapults to one of my favorites of all-time. Too bad it couldn't have been a longer series. I know it was based on a book and not a traditional dorama, but I was sad to see it end. Would have loved being in that "world" a little longer.

Excellent work with the English subtitles, Chuks. They were superb and defiinitely worth waiting for you to complete the entire series before viewing. Omedetou.

Arigatou gozaimasu. Happy New Year.
