Will the ep10-13 be posted of these?

If I ever get the DVDs of the 3rd season, I'll definitely make DVDRips.
3rd season was released on DVD a couple of weeks ago.
I hope the discs will appear soon. :-)

First screen reads:
Yoshifuru to Tami wa kekkon shita
(Yoshifuru and Tami got married).

Second screen reads:
Dokushin saigou no toride mo, tsui ni ochita ka!
It litterally means something like "Did even the bachelorhood's last fortress fall down?!".
I'm sorry if it doesn't mean much in English but I'm not a native speaker, and ithe lack of context makes it even more difficult. I get the overall meaning but I just can't seerm to find an idiomatic sentence. Hope it helps anyway!

Thank you to everyone who's working on Saka no ue no kumo, I was really looking forward to watching the series! :) Seems it's gonna be a great story!

IMHO it is, better than the last 3 Taigas (and the current one) combined by miles, despite the
obviously fictional (i.e. not even in the original novel?) and obligatory 'Romeo-and-Juliet-ish' inter-racial romance in part II.
Just wanted to add my thanks to the Avallac'h + BMWracer team for these subs -- this is a fascinating series about one of the most exciting times in Japanese history. It deals with issues that are still very much alive today, such as maintaining independence and self-reliance in a global economy, or encouraging patriotism and pride without falling into jingoistic nationalism. I'll be interested to see if the series deals with this later (I've only watched 2 episodes).

So thanks again for all your hard work and dedication -- it is truly appreciated! :salut:

Kagawa-san delivers some awesome performance again. His commitment to character is the best.He must have had a hell of diet to achieve that skeleton-visage.This is his third historical character that I watched (Toshiie to Matsu and Ryomaden being the other).

Just finished episode 9 (many thanks guys!). I'm still hugely impressed with this show. NHK can sometimes be a little, shall we say, economical, in their budgets, but here they went all out. The CGI is fantastic (for the most part) and the actors are doing a fine job -- and yes, iLLusiOnEr, Kagawa Teruyuki really stole every scene -- much better than my guy Abe Hiroshi, who basically just had to look good on a horse :D

One thing I admire about Japanese culture is the emphasis on subtlety and understatement, which generally gets lost in dorama, because TV just doesn't lend itself to understatement. But here, the writers have very subtly showed the parallels between Russia and Japan, their embrace of imperialism, their emphasis on "dulce et decorum est pro patria mori" and the disastrous consequences for both countries later in the century.

By the way, I was wondering what Avallac'h thought of the Russian scenes and the portrayal of the Russian military. Does it correspond to what you were taught in school? Not so easy to do a multinational film about such a sensitive subject!

So thanks again to everyone for the subs and raws -- this is a real treat!

Final episode!
I would like to thank bmwracer one more time.
Without his captures this project wouldn't be possible.
I hope you will enjoy this drama, as much as I did.
