No connection/failed connection after a few successful

i'm new to DA but not new to torrent sites

from what i can see, i have everything set up accordingly. utorrent, ports, settings, etc

i've already downloaded a few files and also am seeding... but then they all of a sudden turned red...

only 1 out of 5 is actually seeding...

and another weird thing... i downloaded the torrent files from DA and the files downloaded with korean text... but now it seems the titles have changed to english...

does this happen on occasion?

i also can't seem to download anymore... getting the red arrows

"no connection ... target machine refused"
"failure connection timed out"

should i delete these torrents, redownload the torrent files, rename the korean text to match the english text, and set download? but that won't work since i can't seem to download anymore anyway...

any suggestions?

The files with Korean text.
It's the uploaders who have kept the Korean file names. Some use Korean, Japanese or Roman letters. I preferable use Roman letters myself,

About the torrents turning red.
It depends on which trackers the uploader has added to the torrent. To solve it.
Try to add more trackers.
Do this by right-clicking a torrent and choose "Properties"
Paste the following into the box.
Let it b e one empty line between each address. It's supposed to be that way.

You don*t have to if you don't feel it's needed.
A quick way to add the trackers to several torrents is to select several torrents in uTorrent.
Select one file and then Ctrl + A (on PC), then right-click, and choose Properties.

well dang it... how do i find those torrents with the korean text again? i deleted the torrent files to try and match it up with a different torrent file with the same name but just in english... it didn't work...

The file you changed to English.
Search for it and when you find begin to download the file. Stop the torrent when you got it in your download folder.
Re-name the English file to the Korean name and place it in your downloader.

Right click the torrent you stopped in uTorrent and choose "Make hash check..." The file.
The best thing is if you know that a file is from here and you reseed it. If you have another source, you might not be able to reseed it.

I'm not sure if your problem is the following.
You can download files, but are having trouble uploading.

I'm sorry for the confusion.
I hope someone else can add some more clarification to this.
