Progress tracking website/app (like MDL) in Japanese?

Post by 50uc » Aug 8th, '15, 22:57

Wasn't sure if this should go into "Japanese Culture & Entertainment", "Tech Discussion" or here. Please relocate if necessary.

I'm searching for a website or app (preferably former) like MyDramaList, but in Japanese. So far I only found ドラマ視聴管理 マイドラマノート which is "incompatible with [my] device".

For anime I'm aware of Annict (really Japanese) and anilist.co (where you at least can set the title language to Japanese).

Search strings I fed into google.co.jp so far ...

Code: Select all

ドラマ 視聴履歴 リスト
ドラマ 情報 リスト
ドラマ 見てる 見た 見たい -"海外"
見たドラマを記録
"annict" "ドラマ"
ドラマ視聴管理 -"マイドラマノート" -"海外"
... to no avail. Would be awesome if someone here knew about a site like that and told me. :)

Hrm. Good question. I'm curious to know if one exists as well. At one point mydramalist.info was working on translating the website's interface in various languages, but nothing seems to have come of it (yet) as far as I know. I just asked the site admins to see if it will ever happen.

Not sure if http://www.tvdrama-db.com/ has the ability to track dramas, looks like they're more of a information site. But I thought I'd mention it, if you'd like to take a look at it.

Jup, seems to be "read only". No user lists or something like that. But thanks for mentioning it. :)

I installed this ドラマ視聴管理 マイドラマノート app to see what it looks like.
It showed as incompatible with your device because the developer decided to region lock the app to Japan only (...why do people do that!?).
Apparently there's no drama database. You need to type the drama name, how many episodes it has... so it is not very useful.
I tried to add Mare, which has 156 (it's an Asadora) but it didn't let me do it. The limit is 32 episodes per season.
You are better of with a spreadsheet unfortunately.

Another suggestion http://www.drillspin.com/
Info about apps http://www.drillspin.com/docs/smart_phone
Don't know if you're able to track dramas.

Thanks for pointing that out. Got the apk to take a look at the app myself. Quite a letdown.

Created an account to test it. There is a 「お気に入りリスト」, so one could at least "track" dramas as a whole, but not single episodes.

/e: just tested tv.yahoo.co.jp — there is a "plan to watch" list and shows can be rated but that's about it. nothing suuper useful.
