[Suggestion] Dedicated Forums For Non-English Subtitles

Post by piboi » Dec 21st, '14, 00:42

With all due respect, may I suggest dedicated forums for non-English subs if at all possible?

Yeah, can be done. It has been requested several times already.

The thread indexer for the subtitles index page needs to be updated for the new forum anyway. Then we can also change to a different forum structure with language specific subforums.

[Suggestion] Splitting the Subtitles by language

Post by GaussAlgorithmus » Jan 4th, '15, 12:49

Hi,

is it planned, to split the subtitles forum into several different subforums? The way it is now, it gets more and more cluttered. If you'Re like me, and you just need english subtitles, it's somehow annoying to have to fight your way through hordes of threads for subtitles in Hungarian, German, Italien etc.

I think "English subtitles", "Hungarian subtitles" and "Other languages subtitles" subforums would be sufficient and and much more user friendly. :)

Definitely could do with a bit more organisation. It really is fairly difficult to browse the available English subs amongst the sea of everything else. At least a minimum of splitting the English, Japanese & Everything else into their own sub-forums. :)

Yay, thanks. Thats great to hear. Browsing the forum currently is a bit difficult especially without the help of the fansub map. :)

[Suggestion] Separate section for subtitles

Post by MisS Lonliah » Nov 21st, '15, 17:05

I think having two sections for Subtitles here would be a good idea. One section for English subtitles and the other one would be for all the other languages except English... what do you guys think?

I think having sections for Japanese, English, and Hungarian subtitles would be great. Other languages too if they get a large subbing fan base.

This had been talked about when the forum software switched over and was planned but never implemented.

Please split the subtitle into several subsections, it is getting very hard to find the language one is interested for.

I'm sorry, as a moderator I can't do anything about it, it has to be any of the admins. For the time being please use the subtitles index

You could also try to use the search function, see top right corner at the main page.

For example if you're looking for Hungarian subtitles for Goblin, type in

Code: Select all

"Hungarian Subs" Goblin
It will give you the following
