Post by gaeulprincess » Jun 3rd, '08, 15:04

Regine Velasquez as Kim Sam Soon

GMA Network acquired the rights to make a local version of the romantic-comedy series “My Name is Kim Sam Soon”.

GMA has chosen singer-actress Regine Velasquez to play the lead role of Kim Sam Soon. Mark Anthony Fernandez will play the role of Cyrus, the guy who owns the restaurant where Sam Soon works as a pastry chef. Wendell Ramos will play the role of Dr Henry Kim. The Philippine adaptation of the top-rating Koreanovela will be directed by Dominic Zapata and Khryss Adalia.

in fairness, i started watching this with jaded eyes, being an orig kss fan, but I was surprised that it has kept me glued up to now. It's really a good remake. Very funny and really adapted for the Filipino viewers (culture, user of words etc).

Im proposing this to be subbed, hopefully, my proposal will be accepted.. :-)
