Other Taiga Dramas

Post by AJBryant » Jun 3rd, '09, 10:01

Hey, folks.

Just checking to see if anyone out there has (and would like to upload) any of these Taiga dramas:

Dokugan-ryû Masamune
Takeda Shingen
Taiheiki
Homura Tatsu

I'd really like to get my mitts on these.

Tony

Tony, you are not the only one. I would love to have them, too.

Hideyoshi 1996

Post by junaid » Nov 6th, '09, 14:05

Could I ressurect this thread and ask does anyone have HIDEYOSHI (1996). I have yet to see this on DVD even in Japan, let alone an Eng subbed version...I think it is the" most Taiga" of all Taigas, (used to be a favorite of ex primeminister Hashimoto!) and would love to see it again!

Found Hideyoshi (1996) with Chinese subs...

Post by TenguKing » Mar 7th, '11, 10:38

After trolling d-addicts for a while now, I finally found myself in possession of something possibly worthwhile. Found some eps of Hideyoshi 1996 with Chinese subs, but was wondering if any fansub group would be interested in taking up a Hideyoshi project, if I can somehow get my hands on the RAWs... any takers???

@TenguKing - If you can get your hands on good quality video, Koala Fansubs might be interested in subbing Hideyoshi for our next taiga project...

Please PM me.

Thanks,

Homura Tatsu

Post by Taishogun » Mar 28th, '11, 20:40

I believe Homura Tatsu is the story of the Ōshū Fujiwara - would love to get hold of that fascinating story.

I agree, it would be great to see those Taiga dramas. Especially Taiheiki - that story is such a fascinating read!

For those interested, Taiheiki can be watched with Chinese subtitles on Youku by searching "太平記" As the only Taiga that I'm aware of that deals with the Nanbokuchou jidai, I think this is very much worth watching. Sengoku-jidai and Bakumatsu-jidai are interesting, but there is really a drama overload from those two periods. The Nanbokuchou-jidai is equally interesting and personally, I'm hoping that another Taiga drama in the near future will again take place in this time period, with either Godaigo-Tennou or Kusunoki Masashige as the main character.

Dokuganryuu can be found by searching "独眼竜" on FC2, but it can only be watched by premium members, of which I am not one. With an average viewership of over 39%, I believe this is the highest among all the Taiga dramas. If only there were some kind person with access to this drama who wished to share it with the rest of us...
