Have you ever written a fan letter?

Post by Watanuki » Feb 20th, '15, 21:36

Everyone has their favourite actors and actresses...but has anyone ever written a fan letter to them? I am curious to know what happens. There are times i really feel like writing one, but i never end up doing it. For me, part of the problem is that i have absolutely no idea where to send one, even if i actually went ahead and did it. Has anyone done it before? I am specifically referring to japanese actors and actresses, but i guess it doesn't really matter which country they are from.

i am interested to hear your thoughts. 8)

I once sent one to a Japanese singer/voice actress. I mailed it to the company address on her cds. I never heard back so I have no idea what ever became of it.

For mailing to an actor I would think that sending it to the Talent agency they work for would probably be the best bet.

Does it have to be a fan letter?
Some actors like Eita, Matsuda Ryuhei and Shibasaki Kou have twitter and instagram accounts.
You can comment on their posts, or say hi.
They might not reply back but there's a big chance they have read it, especially if you catch them online.

A letter no, but I sent e-mail to a group of singers (that also are actors) that I like, and they replied ♥
There are a lot of artists that reply their Twitter account.
But I never sent a letter/card to my fav artists, seiyuu, etc..
