What?! They must be crazy! I can't even find girls like you around my area. You are a little meaty but no where near being fat. Speaking of LS1, a friend of mines with an white s13 had a LS1 in his and was feature in super street magazine a couple months ago. It's the Risky Devil white s13 from Chicago.HongKongChick wrote: yea, after i got my car, i had to detail it. um... i am about to put a SR20 in in and a roll cage. was gonna put LS1 in it, but too much fabrication, so went with a SR instead.

um... i might have to check out that issue, i think it's sick, but i was too scared. hahahhaaa.. lol
girls like me? well, i am a rare breed. hell if i was skinny, by their standards, there is no telling what i am doing right now instead of typing. lol
well, ok, let's imagine this: a girl, 5 foot 3, 120 pounds... with curves (i am not a board), healthy with muscles, works on cars, cooks, cleans, sews, paints.... um... if i were a typical asian dude. i would probably stay away from me too. coz i would be thinking "she can kick my ass" "she drives faster than me" "she is very marriage material that she might be snatched by other guys" "she has 2 degrees,, way too smart for me to try to two time her, and she might want to have a real educated conversation instead of just sex all the time"
alright i dont know. does that sound appealing? haha

I haven't read any magazine for a long time. It just that he was featured on the front cover so I had to read that one. I stopped reading magazines so it won't pollute my mine. I like to stay free of the trend. But option mag. is a nice read. I was into drifting back in 2003 and got into time attack back in 2005 when drifting started to become popular. So I'm trying to stay ahead of the trend except now I'm really into circuit tracks and time attacks. I love ones with a lot of corners. The feeling of the side gravity pressuring me give me a thrill that no rollercoaster can compare.HongKongChick wrote: oh, super street. wow... have not read tat magazine since i got the 240.. hahhahaa... i read mainly japanese magazines... like Option

You have 2 degrees? On what? I have no degree. I'm a college drop out. I just stopped going because I had an undecided major and I just feel like I shouldn't waste money anymore. I'm going to have a class reunion this summer and my class is going to freak. I was the stereotyped four-eyed Asian dude that was the smartest guy in in math class. So they'd probably think I'd go the academic route and get myself into some kind of science major.

well, over here, in my state, drifting isnt very popular... at least not as though everyone can/will do it. but it's still popular in Japan, so we will continue till we are tired of it. hahaha... to be honest, i think any form of racing is a thrill, except going in a circle over and over and over...PocketKiriyama wrote:

LOL for the most part. They would think that is one scary little fella. Should see me now...my hair grows incredibly fast and being tired of cutting my hair so many times I usually let it grow and cut it once a year. Right now its long enough that I could pass as a samurai.....wait I think I know where I put that picture!HongKongChick wrote:

I think the shop in the back reads "China Palace" LOL. Sorry it's just funny.HongKongChick wrote: my baby, before it gets all taken apart
Anyway I'll return you the favor.
Here's my supra back in Feb. 2008. It just snow so I took her for a little side to side action on a nearby parking lot.
Here she is now at a shop in Chicago waiting for parts. Waiting for parts is the most time consuming part of working on my car as they are not easy to find.
I resized my pictures after seeing how big those last ones were hahahha.

I do have a shop work on my car but the things that I have the tools to work with I will do it myself. But tools are so darn expensive. My car had so much customization and fabrication there was no way I could do it myself let alone without tools. But yea I do get dirty all the time when it comes to cars. Oh I'm forgetting the blood and sweat that comes out of my body too. That's good I still pay my mechanic but he gives me discounts and freebies all the time. The man have to make a living since my car is on the shop's 5 biggest projects so it takes a huge amount of their time working on it.HongKongChick wrote:maybe i dont do alot of fabrications to my car. i have only taken my car to get tires put on. hahaha.. but i have mechanic friends for that now, i dont even pay for services anymore.PocketKiriyama wrote:

This was taken at Hot Import Nights in Chicago of march 2007 I think. Notice the white s13 in the back that is my buddy Matthew's who have an LS1 in it. He belongs to a racing team called Risky Devil.

Well its the same as a car club almost. Just a bunch of people with the same interests but the difference is that these guys do compete in Drift events and go there as a whole group.HongKongChick wrote:wow, Hot imports night.. have not been to one in a while.PocketKiriyama wrote: That's good I still pay my mechanic but he gives me discounts and freebies all the time. I've known two teams personally. Team Advancement and Risky Devils. Risky Devils is actually a name that they burrowed from the game called "Wangan Midnight". There was a Risky Devils team in that game.

well when i say they are posers, they are... these are locals guys that we see at events...if they are posers, i can tell. as far as u.... well i havent seen u in person, so i cant make a good judgement, but as far as i can tell, u are not a poser...PocketKiriyama wrote:Yeah you'll never know. being in a local forum also poses a threat to the safety of our cars.... a friend of mine's 240 just got stolen, and it was a couple of guys from the forum...

That's true and we hang those idiots out to dry once we get the proof too. It happens a lot in forums. That's why all my car's got a detachable steering wheel with lock and a hidden kill switch. The only way to steal it is to tow the car. Now they can try that too but I'm putting a zoomback on each of my cars and when it's stolen I'm going to track them down personally with my phone and there's going to be some ass kicking. Then I'll call the cops.HongKongChick wrote:well when i say they are posers, they are... these are locals guys that we see at events...if they are posers, i can tell. as far as u.... well i havent seen u in person, so i cant make a good judgement, but as far as i can tell, u are not a poser...PocketKiriyama wrote:Yeah you'll never know.
