San Diego State University

Japanese

Just starting out in Korean, but its deceptively easy if you learn it in Japanese. I'm sure roadblocks will appear as I progress.

But your thread just made me think to dl Korean shows. Thanks :)

Most of the SoCal and some NorCal D-Addicts also hang around cjkdramas.com. SoCal/LA area viewers get 24 hours Japanese programing on UTB Hollywood on 18.2. 24 hours MBC on 18.3. And nightly SBS programmings on 18.1 and nightly KBS programmings. Most of the Kdramas/Jdramas are English sub.

Actually, I spend most of my time hanging around the J-Dorama forums, since I'm a moderator there. :)

Digital 18.2 isn't too bad, but some stuff (anime, dramas) gets recycled quite a bit.

Yes taking anime series that was a weekly show and turning them into daily show really shorten the broadcast period. The only drama that gets cycle is Partners. At least we get English sub Taiga drama every year. Ryoma den will start 2/20.

i don't have an account on that site but i visit it once in awhile.

well, i'm prolly one of the unlucky ones when the dtv transition took place last year. sadly, directv doesn't offer channel 18.2.. :-(
