Privet druzia! Ermmm, I'm not Russian, but since there's no point of asking if here are some other Bulgarians, I decided to drop in and say hello to fellow slavs

Zdravo :D Mai niama mnogo rusnaci tuk ili pone takiva koito da pishat vyv foruma...

Anyhow I found this site & jdorama forum while searching info for the cute in my avatar. I was so surprised to see that there are devoted people who translate japanese serials (thanks to all fansubers). First drama that I watched was Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003, it got me hooked up and still remains one of my favorite ones. Other that I liked are GTO, Gokusen, Trick, Densha Otoko and of course dramas with Aya Ueto starring.

@VioletUK: What about you? Where are you, in Russia, UK or somewhere else?

p.s I apologize for writing in english, learned russian waaay back in elementary school. I can still read, but can't write .

I moved to US, Ohio 3 years ago, and i really hate being here  I have no problems with writing english and i have no idea what u you were trying to say in russian lol. Anyways, I got hooked up on dramas when i first saw prince's first love on international channel in 2005. My favorite drama is My girl though beacuse its so touching and funny.
So far i've watched full house, my girl, gokusen, a love to kill and Prince's first love. Korean dramas are my favorite, i don't think though that korean ppl act anything like that in real life :-(
I will be sure to watch those dramas you listed :thumright:

It must be hard when move so far from home, I'm not sure I can do it.
Haha, the begining of my previous post was written in bulgarian, sorry. They may look the same but are pretty diferent languages with russian. Basically I was commenting that here aren't many russians willing to write in forum.
I haven't watched any korean dramas yet. I usually pick dramas after lurking around this forum and jdorama forum, looking which series is compled and so. About this dramas that I mentioned - GTO is classic when it comes to teacher-school type dramas, it's on top position in jdorama forum. KKK'03 again is teacher-student type, it is kind of heavy for watching, much sadness, nevertheless I value it high. Densha Otoko is nice and original love story, but it demands a great mental efford (at least for me) to overcome slobbering of main character. Trick is fun to watch, Nakama and Abe are playing dedectives, who expose fake spiritualists...

KKK teacher? lol  I dont like the detective dramas but teacher school type is ok, i've heard a lot about about GTO, but there always arnt enough seeders. And most of the korean dramas are about a rich guy and a poor girl falling in love. I wonder why cant they come up with something diffrent, but anyway, its stll fun to watch.
Yea our languages look very similar, and i think many Russians are willing to write in forum but they just dont have a computer lol.

Very funny!
I happen to have a computer - even three for each member of the family, so let me add a few words in Russian:
Sait sovershenno zamechatelnyi, a zhelaniye nekotorykh ludei pomoch nam, ne vladeyushim ili plokho vladeyushim vostochnymi yazykami, ponyat' vse eto mnozhestvo serialov prosto porazhayet. Kak govoritsya, chest im i hvala. Khochetsya i samomu prisoedinitsya k dostoinoi kompanii fansabber'ov, no poka znaniye yaponskogo yazyka yavno ostavlyaet zhelat' luchshego. Po-moyemu, russkiye subtitry delayut tolko k animeshkam, no eto uzhe drugoi razgovor.

Now i'm hooked!

вкусы у всех разные, а вот storywise я бы ещё порекомендовала (besides those ones recommended by VioletUK):

Nobuta wo produce - J-Dorama
Delightful Girl Choong Hyang - K-Drama
Green Rose - K-Drama - the lead in there is very cute ^_^ and the drama is good as well, though a bit stretched out.

Yeah true. Зато когда смотрела 2,3,4 серии плакала крокодиловыми слезами и думала брошу нафик, но не бросила, though the whole thing is a bit predictable. As for the actress I liked her in the beginning, but later in the series she annoyed me a bit :glare:

I also speak Russian. I have been a closet Russian, have been visiting this web site since just after Ruroshin started it. It's kind of makes no sense to use Russian here. You got to know english to navigate thru the web site and be able to watch the dramas. Most of them have english subtitles only.

I found this web site searching for japanese tv programs to use as an language learning aid.
So i have been watching only j dramas. First i found most of them amusing and educational.
Now having learned a lot about japanese culture the surprise factor is gone and i get bored
watching most of the dramas. This is how it is suppose to be as they are shot for middle aged women anyway.

As a person who has watched more than 20 dramas i can tell my preferences. The main problem with dramas is the story is not long enough to justify shooting 10-11 episodes. So that why most of the dramas are boring and predictable. So the winners are the dramas with
convoluted main stories or those which have a new plot for each episode.

My recommendation are:
good
Trick 1,2,3 - mystery/comedy
Hero - mystery/comedy
Shotgun wedding - comedy, loved actors
Love complex - liked twists, the concept, this drama is not for everybody
Cheap love - liked characters/setting
Beach boys - comedy

Star no Koi - my first jdrama; romance; so bad (silly) that it's good
Long vacation - i am not a little girl so i don't like romance dramas but i like this one. Perhaps its the music.

watchable
Sleeping Forest, Million Stars - mystery
KK 2003 - kinky romance, i liked it because of plot twists
Kimi wa Petto, Engine - not that exciting but the characters/actors were ok

manga based dramas/ the characters and plot are simple but the dramas are dynamic.
Watchable for me, i often have a feeling that i am 15 years too old for these.
ace, attack, gokusen 1,2, GTO

Now i am watching
Rondo - not too boring
Unfair - silly but the girl has nice boobs ( i know, i am a shallow man)
Boku dake no madonna - love the girl, love plot twists
Manhattan love story - no subs, i understand only 10-20% of what they talk about but still
love it.

Hope this helps.

Well, you're right it not really makes sense, because there are mostly english subtitles and you have to know english if you want to watch them. But still it's really nice to have there somebody who speaks the same language as you. :) So, we have to continue write somethig in this forum ^_^

Thank you very much for your recommendation!

Why no? I think it makes perfect sense to use your native language once in a while, especially for those outside Russia. It's true that most of the russian people who come to this forum do speak english, but it's also true that a big portion of them don't...but they still come here (you don't have to be an expert in English to navigate, do you?) so why not let them join the discussion in the language they're most comfortable with?
anyways it's nice to find someone who speaks the same language as you do, shares the same culture, and on top of that a drama addict ,ne?

I looked at the French and German boards. They talk about the same stuff you see on the main forums. I guess it is just a place for English challenged folks.

Actually to my surprise there are much more russians watching J/K-dramas then i first thought. True... anime is quite popular, but most of the titles get translated quickly. In a way, chtoby podsadit' na drami nado ih snachala perevesti.

Я native russian..

heya,

well i can write also in german if u prefer...i dont really care. i didnt type that i know only russia in that meaning...i wrote it only to compare to other languages. i know german english and russia. but i m so bad in russia typing cause i have to concentrate in other typing ^^;;

yep its really changed. everywhere new streets and the economic is really great because of the oil and the near distance near china. so they really make a lot of money there. and they build a lot of new houses there like in new york with pools and parks on roofs. its really great there. it just they have a lot of cars so there is a lo0t of smoke. i wear only a half a day a white pullover but it was already so dirty that i had to wash it...T_T

but it was really great there. thats why i m thinking about it to move/study there cause the situation in germany is not so good comparing to german one. also...my job stress me a lot a the moment...i travel a lot, i need a break.

heya!

:blink Is doch ganz schön weit oder?

XD heya ^^

ich bin momentan yaoi suchtig!!! *coughs*

ich möchte a love to kill zu ende gucken...hab grad nobuta no produce geschafft und gebrannt...dabei hab ich noch so viele animes zu gucken *hits her head on the keyboard*

lg XD

Hallo!

Winke Winke

http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Full_House
