Some things went kaput on the site in the last couple of days

Post by koshonin » Aug 13th, '15, 11:45

I first noticed that the reply from ZemusDS to this post: http://www.d-addicts.com/forums/viewtop ... 8#p1736728 went missing (database-issues?)

after that the theme, style and color are messed up

now I get

Code: Select all

Secure Connection Failed
The OCSP server has no status for the certificate.
which might or not be the same as http://www.d-addicts.com/forums/viewtop ... 2&t=161202

either the last update screwed things up or the site was hijacked

This is what I am getting in Chrome -

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.d-addicts.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID

I changed the DNS away from cloudfire because I think its causing email problems. As a result of that though we no longer can use the cloudfire SSL certificate so thats why you see all those error message. I've change the board protocal default so hopefully you won't see that error again.

thank you for responding, I was seriously concerned that the site might 've been hijacked and lost (as has happened to eztv)

not wanting to be a nag ... haha, sorry ... but could you also change the default style back to where the poster is in the left column?

thank you and have a nice weekend

As per the other post about this problem, using just http without the s behind seems to solve the problem. Maybe you could try that? It worked for me too.

Is "test" written in the bottom of every page for everybody ? (for me it is)

What kind of test is that ?

It's probably some theme related test... you can get rid of it by changing your theme to SE Square Left in the User Control Panel

Up until just now, I was still getting this error, but then I accidently stumbled upon a different route and it worked.

I only get this error if I type in "d-addicts.com" in the chrome address bar, as opposed to "www.d-addicts.com" so try that and see how it goes. Maybe change your bookmark too.

Can't be perfect though.
