though i must admit i've resorted to direct downloads lately due to torrents not seeding enough, getting a lot of high quality ones from here: http://hanazone.net

I get a 403 Forbidden error. :/

really? :o thats odd
it works fine for me

Maybe my IP is blocked for some reason? But it seems it works fine if I run the URL through a proxy.

That's awful, but you've got to do what you need to do, for personal reasons or otherwise.

This sucks for me and many others, but don't worry about that. We don't really have the right to complain. Most of us have benefitted without contributing anything ourselves. All contributors have been awesome to voluntarily do what you've done, for so many years. It takes time to put so much into the j- and k-drama community, and people can be ungrateful, and yet you've persisted.

Apparently, I've been a member for 5-6 years, which means I've benefited for 5-6 years.

Thanks so much for the torrents. I'm sure I'll stick around, and check out what people have to say for every j-drama season. :)

maybe you should go with
http://btdigg.org/search?info_hash=debf ... 20High%202
then, the filesize is 166MB (ep2-9) but it's not one from DA, and you probably need some patience.

as for the Heiwa SD version you can place a seed-request here: viewtopic.php?t=150950
or you try furransu's (http://jdramacity.blogspot.com/) and dl the subtitles from here viewtopic.php?t=141458

i don't need it. i now download dramas from any streaming sites from this site- http://dramadownloader.com/

New layout confusion, how do I download now?

Postby masonhales » Thu Jan 29, 2015 10:48 pm

This new layout is confusing. On the old layout I could simply type into the search bar and torrent indexes would come up. Now typing in the search bar only searches forum posts.

D-Addicts has closed down it's torrent section so you can no longer download dramas here.

Read "Closing down the torrent section" for more info.

Wow then what's the point of this website anymore? Subs can be found anywhere, but finding the actual raws in good quality was one of the things this site was actually good for.

There are still people coming here for subtitles/releasing subtitles here, discussing about dramas.

Sorry to hear that.

What about opening a Perfect Dark section instead? PD is quite easy to use. People can just announce that they have uploaded something there without providing a link

Tx U - Piratebay Demonoid Kickass Longterm sites

Postby scrt » Sun Feb 15, 2015 3:51 am

Tx u for the torrent and giving me a chance to view asian film with english translation. Sorry to hear about your personal reason and good luck on your endeavors.

With regard on what to do, it is simple. Torrent to other big name site for torrent to be around for a long time. The key is seeding (seeding box). So keep seeding and keep up the good work of translating. Sometime, to save on bandwidth, it good to use an effiicient format (cannot recall but I think it is rmdb or mkv, just g00ggll33). Also, consider zip or 7zip the file and if the compression is beneficial then consider uploading in that format or zip. Now, if we have a big series then we can zip multiple of 10 (ie 1-10, 11-20, etc = to have totalfile/10 subfiles to make the series ) rather than one big giant file.

Again, money is not the answer. Just love for asian movies, translation, and lot of seeders to keep it alive. tx

I'm crying seriously... it's almost 10 years since my first download torrent. DA was only one place that i could get jdrama as it isnot popular in my country.

Still remember the feeling when series aired on tuesday and sub team uploaded on wednesday... that was great and i knew how hard it was. Feeling thankful.

Thanks every sub team and uploaders who share happiness and time together.

Respect your decision anyway.

I just came back and found this.....
Still thank's for all the good work. This was a wonderful site......

Unfortunately, new BEGIN Japanology episodes do not seem to be seeded anywhere on the net anymore. It's a great loss.

The only place where I found Japanology is youtube.
To download just add "ss" before youtube.com (ssyoutube.com) and you will see links.

NHK killed BEGIN Japanology and replaced it with Japanology plus. Those episodes are on Asiatorrents and (in a lower resolution) Animes-bg.

It feels like an era has gone. Thank you to all uploaders, you have taught me how to share. :notworthy: Those that fed my earlier addiction. Thank you for managing and running the site. I salute your dedication to d-addicts.

I look forward to see your next pioneering work in cyberspace.

Life will never be the same without the Wiki section, it will be sooooo depressing if they will take it down.
besides wiki has nothing to do with the torrents.

Eh? Maybe you meant the torrent section, not Wiki. There has been no word of taking down DramaWiki (of what I know).
