Looking for transcriber for taiga Segodon

Postby Avallac'h » Mon Feb 19, 2018 6:55 am

I'm sure all jidai-geki lovers already noticed that I begun two subtitling project for old taigas Tokugawa Ieyasu 1983, Taiheiki 1991.
And I will be very busy with these two. So I decided not to work on Segodon myself and concentrate on them.

This week KIKU will start English-subtitled broadcast of this Taiga.
Saburo will be recording it. And nuve kindly agreed to translate travelogues like he did with Naotora.
So I'm looking for a person who ready to help with transcribing.
It will not be very time-consuming because the quality of nowadays' rips allows using special programs for extracting hardsubs, which is not working well (or not working at all) with old LQ VHSRips.
But there will be 47 episodes. So this is project for the whole year.

What do you need to do?
I attached example - subtitles for the last episode of Naotora extracted with VideoSubFinder.
Pretty good result, but there is still a lot of work:
fixing OCr errors,
adding missing lines. (VideoSubFinder sometimes can't regnize some lines so you need to add them manually)

PM me if you interested to help.
