When starting to sub a drama...

Postby cmertb » Sat Jul 02, 2016 9:27 pm

I think I read somewhere around here that it's a good idea to announce when you're going to sub a drama. The problem is, I'm not sure where and how to do that. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Just in case, the project I've started working on is http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Montage

Thanks!

Create a new topic in the subtitles forum with the subject

Montage [Eng Subs] (announcement)

Change language if needed. When you have finished the subtitles, return to topic and edit the first post and add the subtitles to it.

Change the subject of it to.

Montage [Eng Subs] (part 1 of 2)
If you post the first and still working on the second part.

or

Montage [Eng Subs] (Complete)

You could also edit your signature under the User Control Panel. (Look at the top-right of the page where it says your name, click it and a menu drops down).

User Control Panel -> Profile tab -> Look to the left where it says "Edit signature" and write what you're subbing, you can also add a link to your blog/social media where you post status on your subtitles project(s).
