WITH S2 subtitles

Postby Avallac'h » Thu Dec 10, 2015 10:18 am

Recently I tried to find English subtitles for the 1st season of Shinya Shokudo and realised that is impossible now.
First season was translated by WITH S2 fansubs:
http://withs2.com/
They're inactive right now. But when they were an active group they forbade to re-upload their subs anywhere else.
They left archive on their site.
But right now all links are dead.
I receive "The uploader of this file doesn't have enough bandwith left!" all the time.

First, my personal request.
Does anyone still have their subs for Shinya Shokudo? Can you please share them with me.

And more global offer.
May be we must allow to re-upload their subs here? I'm sure a lot of people still have thier subs.
And it's a shame to let all years of work to go in vain.
Looking for volunteers, who want to transcribe subtitles for some old dramas. (Yonigeya Honpo, Sweet Home and others)
More details here.
My uploads.

I have no problem with anyone reuploading the WithS2 subtitles here. I've done that in the past for like Haru2subs and BON Fansubs when their sites went down. The problem is that the WithS2 list at http://withs2.com/ isn't actually complete, so even if using that as a guide to reupload, there may be some other subs missing.

Yes. You're right.
I don't know about Korean dramas. But at least one Japanese dorama is missing - Ai Kotoba wa Yuki.
I have their subs for it.
So if this is okay, I'll upload some of their subs soon.

https://web.archive.org/web/20131204004 ... m/projects might be a tad bit more useful regarding known subtitle projects, even though it's still not complete.

I have all their subtitles from current website. And also an unsorted pack of srt files ripped from their old site back in 2011 with additional subtitles that didn't make to current site.

I can share them, just let me know that I can post links to them here.

By all means share them if you want. Won't be an issue, as they are inactive, and subs from inactive groups generally make their way here.

I know this is a little old, but thank you so much for uploading these! WITHS2 was, I think, the best subbing group in their time and set a true high mark for quality that few groups can meet. Having their subs stay available is wonderful.
