NOMINATE future JSoTWs below

**********

Information and rules for the Japanese Series of the Week:

* What is the Japanese Series of the Week (SoTW)? (Some aspects are not up-to-date anymore)
* Nominate only completed Japanese dramas with completed English subtitles!
* You must have at least 10 posts to vote.
* You can always reply on the current Japanese Series of the Week thread or PM me if you want to be a volunteer seeder for a particular drama for the next Japanese Series of the Week.. I will only choose the first four volunteer seeders for one poll! If there are already four volunteer seeders for a poll, i will write it on this thread. Then it isn't necessary anymore to reply here or write me a PM if you are willing to seed a drama for the next JSoTW. Of course you can reply for FUTURE JSoTW, but please remark it!
* It is always helpful, if people can help out seeding the drama which won the vote!
* It is allowed to post requests, but no guaranty for nomination as long as nobody want to be a volunteer seeder for the requested drama.

Even tho I agree with you I voted for Slow Dance.

I think theres not much slow paced dramas made anymore which is a shame because if done right they are incredibly joyful and/or relaxing to watch. And as far as slow paced dramas go, Slow Dance is (certainly not the best but) one for the better ones imo.

and also just thinking of Seija no Koushin made me wince. It was so brutal in its delivery that for me it passed cheesiness/drama /well of tears and went directly to anger ((because somewhere in the world we are living in, these things really happen (tho not this clustered I hope)) and shame (because even tho I live in a third world country where things like this have a bigger chance of happening I have never done anything myself to prevent or even increase awareness about the possibility of these kinds of abuse and discriminations). Both of which I usually do not look for when watching dramas.

I have to agree!! In the last few years the plots are mostly tighter and also the scenes and cuts are more fast-paced. I can understand the people which love it, but for me it's a big loss. Maybe one of the reason is the lack of romance dramas. 2/3 of all new dramas are mystery, crime and suspense dramas. I really miss new slow paced romance dramas with some long scenes and how the characters suffers from lovesickness :D
