I'm going to give this series a try because it stars a very talented young actor, Hamada Gaku. He is unmatched in his portraits of youth overwhelmed by the vagaries of life, such as his starring role in the film "Ahiru Kamo no Coin Locker". The premise of "Piece Vote" sounds as c...

Koitsu, I was just rewatching a few of the older eps, and I was thinking about how
AWESOME your subs are. :-)

I might be biased towards Ryuhei-san because the first thing I saw him in was the award-winning "Gohatto", and unfortunately for Shota-san, the first thing I saw him in was "Jotei", which I'm pretty sure didn't win any prizes. In all seriousness, Shota-san is movin' on up ...

I've reached the final ep with the "benri brothers" and all I can say is:

What's going to happen with our boys??

The final ending left me dying for more stories...

I second the Magerarenai Onna rec from antspace. Children would be another rec, but it seems as though there are no eng subs available. Hey, antspace, thanks for the amazing leads. If I see the word "Tantei" in the title, I'll always check it out. :D Nice to hear that about Matsuda Shota. ...

Thank you for starting a spring season thread!
I'm not expecting any miracles this time around - after a show like "Saikou no Rikon", that would be asking for a bit much.
I appreciate everyone's previews and I will be following this thread with interest.

Ha, ha, you are speaking the truth, fellow d-addicts. If your first J-dorama is a great one, you can waste a lot of time "chasing the dragon's tail" to feel that initial "high" again. This is one of the reasons I am so grateful to the fansubbers who have to wade through a lot of ...

THIS is what puts the script in the top ranks. Saikou no Rikon, no matter how fanciful or out there the situations could become, NEVER insulted the viewer's intelligence.

I just watched the final episode. I was moved to tears during three different parts! I couldn't understand everything, but the amazing acting, script and direction allowed me to connect with all of the characters in a meaningful way and enjoy every moment of the viewing experience. I give Saik...

I can't believe the final episode is about to drop. I feel sad this dorama is ending. I know it's just a TV show, but it entertained me so profoundly with it's near-perfect comedy-drama. Hilarious as hell and deep as the ocean - shows like this don't come along often enough.
Sigh....
