Are u sure the subtitles are coming from ffdshow or is it coming from another filter like VSfilter. It seems to me that the font is just a little too big and you can just reduce the size of the font and it should fit just fine. See if this helps if it is ffdshow that's the problem: Here is the scree...

For me, there isn't any drama worth watching a 2nd time. That's why I stopped burning them to DVD. Now, I just watch them and then delete them. It's just not dramas, though, I started selling off my DVD collection because of the same reason--never watch them a 2nd time, some I never even opened beca...

I am not sure what the problem was but I have had similar issues in the past and this is how I solve it. Make a new text file and then copy and paste the text from the old file to the new file and then save it and then rename the extension to .srt or .ass. This always worked for me. Hope that helps.

It may have been the cable but could have also been the drive's firmware. W/ dvd burners, the write speed instructions for certain media are in the firmware so if the dvd burner sees a medium that isn't on its media list, it will default to burning at the slowest speed which is usually 1X or 2X(in y...

I'm guessing 704x396 will still be around for a while since it seems to me people like to keep their PCs especially laptops for a long time. I have no job and I still upgrade every year. It's easy as long you know what you're doing. I always part out my laptop and it costs me about only $50-100 to g...

The thing I found out is that vdubmod doesn't support asian language fonts(maybe why some people say it doesn't work since usually chinese files use rmvb), the...
