Sorry if this is a stupid question, but my ratio on JPTVTS has fallen too low for immediate downloads (have to wait). I'm seeding everything that I've downloaded in recent months, but no one is leeching, so obviously I get no upload credit to improve my ratio. Is there any way to get credit? What if...

If you use Transmission to download, you can right click the file name before adding it to the download list. There is an option "rename file". Just put in the Japanese or romaji name and click "rename". Then it will download as that name.

Thanks so much for starting this thread. I enjoy taigas in general, and this one looks very interesting (of course, I love this period in Japanese history, on the cusp between ancient and modern). Hope it gets some subs, but as Castellan pointed out, 50 episodes is a hell of a commitment!

Just watched episode 4, and am still enjoying what is a very fascinating story (to me at least). Lots of depth, yet funny moments. I cracked up tonight watching Abe Sadao do an imitation of Sato Jiro as Hotoke in Yuusha Yoshihiko to Akuryo no Kagi! I'm watching all my favorite doramas at once.

I agree with the last few posts. Juri san has really grown into this role and succeeds in bringing to life what could have been a caricature in less capable hands. I know some people feel that her portrayal is sometimes anachronistic, but the real Oeyo was quite a woman. Kudos all round!!
