Re: Suggestions to Expand DramaWiki

The wiki needing 1. an account at all (not sure what tools are available to prevent spam etc. from anonymous edits though), and 2. it being completely separate from the forum account seems a pretty high obstacle to "drive-by contributions" (small errors, typos... people notice while visiti...

Re: [Problem] D-Addict's Insecure Password Warning on Firefox

http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/index.php (no "s" after "forum", old bookmark) seems to redirect to https://www.d-addicts.com/forums/ ("forums" but https) though, which then throws up this error.

Re: Please keep using x264 over x265

x265 support in Aegisub is probably dependent on the ffmpeg version it uses, my version of Aegisub (3.2.2 on Linux) can load x265 files.

Re: Question about Unknown JDrama / Help Identify this Jdrama

I vaguely remember it as the worst gravure idol booby show disguised as drama I've seen (well, I skipped through the first episode to see if it actually was as stupid as the description made it sound - yes, it was), probably not later than 2012/2013. I don't remember the title though, so I guess thi...

Re: Need help finding weird Japanese drama I watched when I was younger.

The drama was about one mother raising a kid that wasn't hers. The mother then raises the child for a few years like it was her child. A few years later (in the drama) the mother and child was at the shop on the marina when the Japanese Police (maybe the Yakuza?) take the child away from the mother...

Re: Any one know this?

So I watched some drama several years ago, but cant remeber the name. If I remember correctly there are 3 sisters in it and it was somehow some sort of detective series. What I'm sure is this scene: Sister1 one is trying o learn some kanji, with not so much of success. Then she gets "kidnapped...

You could also try to drag the torrent link into your torrent program, then that downloads the torrent, and the adblock in your browser can't interfere.

The Linux programs I know only do OCR on DVD subtitles, not directly from videos. Running AVISubDetect in wine fails when opening a video (after installing codec stuff with winetricks, the codec seems to crash). The AVISubDetect source is available at http://web.archive.org/web/20071031111130/http:/...
