personally, I'm half a tourist, half family reunionist. Because I'm still relatively young, my idea of being a tourista would be going to all the night life places. I've been to a few malls in makati, manila, and cebu. They defintiely have a grandeur feel. I've been to the a couple clubs in Cebu and that's a great spot for people my age; 18-30.

just putting in my 2 pisos.hah

the only club i can remember actually being at, too much drinking, was the paseo. that thing is crazy big. there were some upscale ones also but i can't recall the names for them. i just know they're near the paseo.

yeah, beautiful pictures ^^
Cebu is a very interesting place to explore,
you have to go to the provinces.
Camiguin is also a beautiful place.
It's popular for their hot and cold springs Mr. Green

btw, I recommend u to visit this blog:
http://letsgotothephilippines.blogspot.com
It's nominated as best travel blog, so pls check it out;
it's better than lonely planet pinch
This blog is very informative about how to get to a particular place,
where to stay, recommended things to do
to make your trip to a particular place fun & worthwhile, food, etc.
Go to the archives section,
and also use the search function to research about
a place where u wanna go. U will find the information useful,
not to mention there are nice pics for every featured place and
links to useful travel sites.

My advise to foreigners who want to try out the Philippines is to avoid going to cities, like Manila, if you want to save yourself from the worst. I've been to a lot of countries and I can't really compare the beaches here to other beaches I went to in other countries. If you want to enjoy the most of out of this country, try going to the beaches far from Manila.. I assure people that they will not be disappointed.

Hey you chocolate i dont believe you have been here in the philippines cause in the way you quoted this country your ignorant to tell such thing.... this country is one of the beautiful countryn this word has ever had...i hope before podting comment like this try to study more.....i have advice for you.... search wikipedia and look for the philippines then you say that im right and your wrong

are you going to meet a friend? or relative? it's a really good place if you know where to go... the food and delicacies are great in lucena toO. and since it's part of quezon, ask someone to bring you to the nearest beach. there are a lot of good beaches in Quezon province and surf's really good there too Big Smile but shurgao is still a better place for surfing (^_^)v
