Well.sort of like that! Can't I recruit here of it wasn't for the drama?
actually, we also want to subb a drama but we worry about the time zone differences and the continuation of the project...me, as of my past experience, it's really hard to subb, and as our site is new...we want to start first at the easy way...

with d-a, its hard to know what the rules are anymore. just when you think you have something figured out, they change it up on ya. so honestly, i have no clue.
but thats not why i was asking. what i meant, which i now realize that it didn't sound that way at all (sorry about that), was if you are subbing the jpop stuff for je/h!p/etc artists or if you had planned to sub the various dramas they've been in. if its just the jpop stuffs, thats cool, i enjoy working on pv's and stuff too ^_^ short fun stressfree projects! if it was dramas, i was curious as to which ones.
but i'm guessing from your response tho that its just the jpopstuff for now. i'm curious what you mean about time zone differences tho. how does that affect fansubbing?

Welll...I guess I'm sorry about that...It just happen that I before, I have a subbing team also and we give the raw to our translator...after a week, we ask her if "how's the update" and she didnt' reply at all... and it's been mons and mons and she didn't reply at all. Well, I guess it's not the timezone, its the state barrier...because If only we live close to each other, I already tell her FACE TO FACE that how's the translations..did you already work it out?
So I guess, that's why...but one reason we like pvs, interviews, and makings to be subb is because, as you said it's stress free...hehehe

That's not a issue of time zones though. Some of my most reliable translators are on the other side of the world and are never even awake when I am. That doesn't stop us from emailing each other progress. That sounds more like the translators who say they will do something and then just disappear (quit) without telling anyone. If it's been months I think it's safe to assume she/he doesn't plan to do it. Ever.

Your desire to fansub is greatly appreciated. However, we only allow fansub recruitment for dramas. I suppose if you are recruiting for fansub related material then this would be fine. If you wish to do fansubs on PVs and such for jpop, you should look into recruiting at jpopsuki.com.
If/when you decide to venture into dramas fansubs(or drama related fansubs), then by all means, please do not hesitate to post here for staff recruitment. I'm locking this thread for now, but if you want it unlocked to recruit for dramas or drama related work, please PM me. _________________ ...
