are you sure you don't happen to have a space somewhere it doesn't belong?
the above link shows a space between [img] and the url which is why it doesn't show as the sig below here...
also, if you've uploaded your sig to an image host, use the direct link to image shown at the very bottom HERE...

I'm trying to add to my signature and I keep getting a message that it's to long.
I've shortened it many times and It's less than 300 characters, unless I'm supposed to count spaces. Maybe its just inappropriate?

you're entitled to express your opinion in your sig file as long as it doesn't offend people. i would say that the wording you have there is stern, but not profane. (in other words, it's fine)

here's one way around it. if you make an acct at a free service like photobucket or imageshack, you could make a IMAGE file (save it as a jpg or something). then your sig file would simply contain the reference to the image:

[ img ] http:\\www.photobucket.com\oldladyfolder\warning.jpg [ /img ]

the reference would contain much less characters, but the img itself would hold all of your text.

Thanks jholic. I forgot to put a smiley face in the message above. I would never really cut someone off. As a matter of fact I don't expect anyone to stay on, that way I'm pleasantly surprised when someone does.

no problem, but i hope you understood what i was saying about photobucket and imageshack.
