No, I am actually located in Japan. And the TV broadcast format from which I get the subs is a local one. It doesn't utilize satellites.

| if u use subtitle workshop, here is the way to open it, open the file in text, save as ANSI, then choose Shiftjis in subtitle workshop, and it shows up xD
