question about tracker/visible UL and DL on torrent page

I have a question or concern or something.

There are a few torrents i am DL'ing. When i saw them on their torrent page they were clearly marked as having UL'ers/seeders. I am using uTorrent and when i click on the peers sections, it shows no seeders. When i click on the torrent in uTorrent it shows seeders and what % they are at and none of them show 100%.

I am trying to download the following:
Women of the Onsen
Aijou Ippon
Yasashii Jiken

i know a little about torrents, i check the FAQ (i read it all and found nothing like this), and have checked into uTorrents help page and found nothing.

anyone have any ideas on this.

not certain, but i think utorrent shows your peers/seeds in parenthesis. if you see 0(9), then there are nine peers, but you are connected to zero of them.

sometimes, it takes a very long time to connect to someone else. OR their settings are somehow preventing you from connecting to them.

right, i understand that about the ( ) numbers. But on the torrent page it states 1 UL. but on uTorrent it shows 0 (0). My uTorrent has been open for a few hours. i dont know how long it takes exactly to connect though. maybe you are right about the settings of the UL.
