Hi, I'm shortarabguy, and a friend and I are interested in forming a new group to help bring Asian Drama to English audiences. Right now, we have one editor and one Chinese translator, so we have lots of room for positions to get this show up and running! If you're a Translator who can translate from Japanese or Korean to English, or if you're a Timer, Encoder, or Typesetter with even a little experience, then please drop by on our channel in Rizon( #dorama-subs ) and let us know that you're interested.

Our Chinese translator is Rache|, and I, shortarabguy, will take the role of editor. Talk to either of us in the channel if you have any questions or if you're interested in joining.

"Who are you again?"
We're Dorama-Subs, on the Rizon IRC network at #dorama-subs and we're interested in forming a new group!

"Why are you doing this?"

Well, I already edit anime, and while it's difficult to keep myself engaged in such a competitive atmosphere, there's a lot to be said for such a competitive atmosphere and I'd really like to take my abilities with fansubbing to apply them to Korean Dramas. Rache|... I don't know what Rache|'s story is. Haha, all the more reason to drop by and ask!

"What will you guys be working on?"

Good question, that's up to you( if you join our team). As I said, I'm really interested in bringing these shows to English-speaking audiences, but there are way too many shows out there to get picky about what we do, right? So as long as it's an interesting show and you guys want to work on it, I don't see any problem with putting some effort into it as well.

Well, I guess that's it. If you're interested, feel free to drop by the channel( it's lonely just the two of us!), or if you're not interested in going onto IRC just for a simple question or comment, send me a message or even ask it in this thread. Basically, if you know a way to contact me, by all means go for it. I look forward to working with you!

I was looking through the recruitment and saw yours and was interested in helping! I can actually do timing, typesetting, and encode (i have the most experience here though) things if needed pinch So if you still need help, I definitely can help out! =D I don't really know how to use IRC...or yeah so I hope leaving a message here is fine =)

If you could PM me and tell me what K-Drama you guys are planning to work on, I may join as translator. <3
