What is the Japanese Series of the Week (SoTW)? More Info Here
Hidden:

Due to the substantial number of torrents on this site, we implemented a "Series of the Week," where we could dedicate bandwidth and seeding efforts to a specific series. This helps in several ways:
1. People will know which series was voted and will be seeded, rather than just waiting and hoping for them to be seeded at some later date.
2. For those seeders who have DVD burners and have already burnt their collections to DVD/CD, the series of the week gives them an opportunity to dust off those archives and help seed their favorites.
3. Constantly re-circulates older torrents back into view, and focuses bandwidth and demand toward specific torrents, rather than having people request series across the board.

Remember, D-Addicts was started for the community, and being a part of the community means sharing. If you don't share, then everyone loses (refer to JEM's dropping of cdramas). Bittorrent and DA works much better if you share as others have shared with you.

======================================================================

If you are willing to seed any of the series in the poll, please post a reply here or in the JSoTW: Looking For Volunteer Seeders thread or PM anyone of the mods or admins. There are still several series which do not have volunteer seeders, so any help would be greatly appreciated! The more seeders we have, the more variety we will have in future JSoTW polls!

Reminder: You must have at least 10 posts to vote. Don't start spamming the forum, but this encourages you to get involved in some of those drama discussions!

Ai wo Doda seems the most interesting.

EDIT: would like to nominate Meguri Ai for the next time, I know it has been nominated before but it seems to be a very good drama (plus currently only episode 1 has a seeder).

I'd like to nominate Oishii Puropozu for next time, if possible. I was interested in seeing it, but most of the episodes have 0 seeders. Only 3 are seeded, with 1 seeder each! I don't know if it's been nominated before, but it hasn't won.

The way I've been picking nominees is opening up the list of shows and picking at random. If it hasn't won before and needs seeds then I add it. I'm running out of non-winners though, so if I give up looking for a one, I'll use Meguri Ai.

Oishii Puropozu seems to have seeds for each episode.

Ahh, young grasshopper....
Therin lies the challenge and headache that is "creating the JSOTW polls"... Fear

Lemme know when you want a break. You've been cruising along, but I know it's a fair amount of work... :p

Yesterday many episodes had 0 seeders, or appeared to be so. But I know the tracker's display on the site can be inaccurate.

But I thought we could nominate series? Right in the first post it seems to say so... I understand that's copy & pasted. Maybe you should make it clear in the post from now on that nominee selection is random?

I'm not complaining about that. All I can do then is hope it gets selected sometime in the future and try and get it anyways.

@mizune
lol, challenge and headache is an understatement >.< not really ^_~

@SusieQ
Oh, you're definitely free to nominate a series. Only reason I said I was randomly picking things was because Meguri Ai was nominated but had been a previous winner. As long as they fall under the criteria for nominating, nominees from users are priority to the random ones I pick. Nominees that have won before are prioritized after my random picks. And anything after doesn't matter : P Sorry for the confusion.

I nominate nanisama, I saw the first ep, which I am seeding and its been been weeks since I started downloading the other ones, once in a while a seeder appears, but not much is given out, I still haven't finished any other.
I noticed that nanisama was a previous winner, but I don't know when it won.
