Ever tried opening 'directvobsubconfigure' ? click the switch titled 'Arial' on the right side under 'text settings' and choose another size in the appearing dialog...

Doesn't look like it. Because VLC uses its own built-in codecs, it doesn't use ffdshow and such. VLC handles the subtitles internally... Looking around in the program, I don't see any font manipulation options. I checked the Subtitles/OSD preference section with the advanced options enabled, but no go.

There is a way. Click "Open File" (Ctrl+F), now on "File" tab, above field when you choose subtitle file is "Advanced Settings..." button. Click it and... here you are - "Relative font size" option (normal is set by default).

If anyone decide to bring it up, if script is built-in onto MKV, those can not be changed for most of the part (Size is only thing changeable. Other fonting can not be changed, unless script is .ass or something..)
And everyone should know that burnt-sub / hardsub are unchangeable for most degree.

This can be locked now imo.
