well if you read his name in Chinese it's 王傳一 Wang Chuan Yi. He's stage name comes from condensing his name to 王一
王 - (Wang) King
一 - (Yi) One
So I guess literally it's really supposed to be King One.... but I think it sounds weird to say it that way so I always say it as one word King-own. I've never heard anyone actually call him that though. It's always Chuan Yi in BTS and SP stuff.
