WOW! It would probably be so weird watching filipino dramas with english subs. haha...
hindi ba dapat Pangarap na Bituin = Star Dream? haha
kasi Dream of a Star = Pangarap ng Isang Bituin... hahaha...
ok ok... don't mind me... xD
may sira lang ako sa ulo...

well depende sa tao un kung ano ibig sabihin sa kanya, lam mo naman tau pinoy marami pakahulugan..ung star kc pwedeng tao un na isang star like sharon cuneta, isa siyang star, mega star,celebrity, famous.. pero ung mismong star o bituin na word sa drama na yan ay star na bituin talaga na isang bagay na pinapangarap nung bida..depende kasi sa paggamit ng word... 
tama ka rin pwede rin star dream o dream star pero ang mali, depende sa meaning nung drama na pangarap na bituin ay yung pag tagalog mo ng "pangarap ng isang bituin" which is ikaw ang nagbigay ng ibang pakahulugan na para sau ung star doon eh tao like superstar nora aunor or star for all season vilma santos... like i said, depende sa paggamit o kahulugan ng word na yun sa drama which is pinapangarap nila ung bituin, hindi pangarap ng isang bituin kasi sa drama eh hindi pa sila sikat kaya hindi pa sila matatawag na star doon o isang bituin, pag sumikat na pwede na sila tawagin star (sarah geronimo, rica peralejo & maja salvador... c jericho star na siya don sa drama kaya pwede na siyang tawaging star o bituin at hindi na nya pinapangarap ang bituin kc naabot na niya ung bituin unlike sila sarah pinapangarap pa nila ung bituin ... (my own opinion)

wa man gud ko kabalo sa story sa pangarap sa bituin. nag yawyaw ra man ko... joke ra man toh. seryoso man kaayo ka... hehe...
translation:
nalito ako sa mga sinabi mo... haha. ewan ko ui.
hindi ko kasi alam ang story ng pangarap sa bituin. nag yaw yaw lang man ako... joke un... hindi mo na dapat sineryoso... xD
sorry. hindi ako magaling mag tagalog... (bisdak... bisayang dako) hehe...

hehe.. unga.. ok lng po un, di ko naman maxado sineryoso, I'd thought of helping you kung d mo maxado naintindihan, hehe..mejo d nga tau sanay sa mga english translation ng mga teleserye natin kaya ganon din dating sa kin na parang may mga mali sa english translation ng titles, haha.. ako din naguluhan sa explanation ko, hehehe

I've always been interested in Filipino Dramas, and think it's a great idea that you guys are started a group to sub them. I'm actually one of the two people who voted for Panday, but I would be interested in watching whatever wins ^__^

Could it be "The Star of your Dream"? I don't think you can translate tagalog word per word in english because it will have a different meaning. Anyway, it's just a suggestion. Because when you say "Dream of a Star", they are "stars" already. "Pangarap na Bituin", means that they are dreaming to be a star._________________ Devil Beside You ... Hana Yori Dango ... dreaming to be a star in tagalog is pangarap na maging bituin..
the "bituin" that they are mentioning in the drama is a thing that they want to achieve which is the star or in other words stardom (being famous & celebrity) gosh, I'm really confuse with other people's thoughts.. anyway, It doesn't matter to me as long as I know, for me, I know that I can understand english and tagalog very much.. so peace to all, we have diff. point of views but still we're all Filipinos so walang awayan ha, hehehe
