This is a 2 hours Special Comedy Battle where entertainers can win up to 1 000 000yen if they can pass the 5 stages. The stages are different categories of comedy and they need to make randomly selected people laugh. For the first 4 categories, 3/5 is enough, but for the dreaded last one, they need all 5 people to laugh.
Nor the comedians, nor the audience knows who has been picked. So it is half a matter of luck and skills.
