It's impossible to give you the absolute top 5 dramas, seeing as there are so many good dramas out there, and many more I've yet to finish, that my force me to change favorites... But I will give you my opinion on some of the music in dramas... I will categorize it, seeing as how attempting to think of the best overall music would be just as impossilbe as trying to think of the best dramas...
Best Single From a Drama
(TOSS UP BETWEEN)
"Dreaming Butterfly" - by 3rd Line Butterfly from K-drama, ROYOW
"Doll's Dream" - by Loveholic from K-drama, A Good PersonI
I don't know why, but something about Dream/ or Dreaming seems to do it for me
Best Complimentary Score to a Drama
The music from the K-drama, Tell Me You Love Me.
The simultaneously quiet, flowing, and tragic tone of the music added the new dimensions to the tragedy of this drama. The music and the drama fit each other so perfectly, in a way I've rarely seen in any drama
Best Intro Melody
J- Drama, Summer Snow.
This is what intro melody should be. Short and succint but still able to set the mood for the drama.
Best Ending/ Credits Music
J- Anime, GTO. I think its by someone named Kirari.
I know. Not exactly a drama. But I felt obliged. While the show itself is comical and outlandish, this song is very subdued. I liked it precisely because of that, as I felt it conveyed the inner emotion of Onizuka as a teacher.
Best Use/Adaptation of Music Not Intended for or Original to the Drama
Paganini's Classical Violin Piece in K-Drama, Sandglass. I think it's a sonata, but I'm not sure.
I wasn't a big fan of this drama, but I had to acknowledge its successful use of Paganini. So associated with the drama is the song that many believe it was written solely as the theme song and don't realize it's a piece by Paganini.
Best "Something's Gonna Happen", Impending Music
Music from K-Drama, I'm Sorry, I Love You.
I may be a bit partial considering I'm watching the drama currently. But dammit, it keeps me on the edge of my seat, making me eager and anxious to see what's gonna happen next.
Music With Most Comical Effect
Music from J- Drama, Gokusen.
I don't know if you would really consider it music, or just sound effects, but whatever it is, it's offbeat and highlights the humor in situations shown extremely well.

My point exactly! I watched it almost religiously cuz it had enough to keep me hooked. Then the last episode rolled around, let me down. Not just let me down but more like dropped me off the empire state building onto a vat of broken glass, then set me on fire.I felt like someone played a cruel joke on me, making me waste 20 hours of my life like that. |
hahhahahah......i guess you had it worst than me, Stranger. i only felt that the ending was too rushed and i sat there pondering and wondering "WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?". _________________ watching: Ryusei no Kizuna, Miss No Good, Bloody Monday, Room of King
