why was it a "dirty" weekend trip to Hawaii? Because she was pouring suntan lotion over her lover's back?

and if I remember correctly, Oshio Manabu quit acting? That could be a reason why none of this affects him.....meanwhile it harms Yada. Japanese entertainers really have it hard, I mean it's not like she's a teenager who has to stay pure and chaste for her audience.

I just read the entire article. I guess she was at the wrong place at the wrong time. She should have waited until the commercial shoot was over before that since they were looking for a "pristine" ladylike image. but is it so wrong to have fun?

The only thing I have against their relationship is that Oshio admits that he's a heartbreaker himself. I forgot where I read that from, but that just stuck with me since I googled him after watching "Love Revolution".

its rare that any "relationship" in japan concerning celebtrities is every looked at in a positive light. I remember when kimutaku got married (i was in japan at the time), the backlash wasnt negative, but it was negative. (It wasnt supposed to be, they werent writing stories about it being bad, but they were definitely accentuating the negative.) i remember when okamura had the date with the bikini model (i forget her name) it was just him having a date with a pretty girl. It was like OH MY GOD HES DATING SOMEONE WHAT WILL THE REST OF THE CAST THINK? OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!

basically i agree the coverage here was unfair but im not surprised unfortunately.

Akiko will overcome all this crap - you just wait and see. If she doesn't, that'll just add one more item to my lengthy list of things I hate about the geinokai, and how unloyal the Japanese fans are. For her to go down for something as stupid as this, while they praise pedophiles like Michael Jackson, there doesn't seem to be any consistency in the whole thing. scratch
