[Discussion] Nihongo dekimasu on NHK

Anyone seen this? It's an introductory Japanese course NHK has been running and they just started reairing last week on Thursdays (technically Friday) at midnight. The lead actress in it is really cute. Here's the NHK's page: http://www.nhk.or.jp/gogaku/japanese/erin/

Does anyone happen to have a torrent of these shows?

I don't really know about that show, but you can check out this webpage:

They have audio files from a NHK Japanese course, you can download them.
The files are from the "Basic Japanese for You" and "Brush Up Your Japanese" audio series presented by NHK.

if you have usenet access, the first 5 episodes are available on alt.binaries.world-languages
under the name "Getting Into Nihongo".

However it's entirely in Japanese without subtitles, so I'm already getting a little lost.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. I have a few years of Japanese under my belt but I thought I'd check it out. I'm not really sure who the intended audience for the program is since its all in Japanese. The first ep goes over basic greetings in a variety of scenarios. It reminds me of the cheesy educational videos they show you in school.

someone uploaded some of the clips to YouTube but they've been taken down .. grrrr
