Thank you for your help!

Our experience here is that most leechers don't even read the forums. IMHO, why bother? We just don't have the time to be pro-active in all of this.

i added the "LIST OF LICENSED DRAMAS" to Ruro's first post, but i'm just wondering if anyone is actively updating that list??

if someone IS updating it, could you please add a "list last updated on..." comment? thank you.

Dear Groink and Jholic,

Thank you for taking the time to respond. Before I wrote on this Forum, I did check the first post and the link. It was to a newsletter and the catalog listed only K-dramas. I also checked the link that Jholic sent -- it listed only K-dramas. Unsure Since this is a Chinese drama, I guess I hoped ... Sigh! Maybe it's licensed somewhere so that was why it was removed. Sad It's just that there was no explanation. And, according to my uTorrent list of peers, there's still 48 people waiting at 22% ...

What would be nice is if someone would please write in the Torrents Comment section of that torrent that this was removed. I also checked that -- that's when I noticed the torrent was gone and the UL and DL information was also blank.

Well, the licensing issue only pertains to Korean dramas, which is why when you mentioned the word "license", and the fact that you posted in the Licensed Dramas topic that pertain to Korean shows, we took it as if that drama was Korean. Regarding TLW, it probably got deleted by a moderator because DramaWiki does not allow the uploading of videos with YesAsia subtitles. Nothing to do with licensing - it is more of a conflict of interest seeing YesAsia is a sponsor of D-Addicts.

It is also possible that JOJO2002 himself deleted the torrent. I've deleted torrents myself before without explanation. The uploader has a full right to do whatever he wants with the torrents he uploads.

leimomi: you'll have to wait until JOJO responds. i don't think any mod deleted the torrent.

groink: thanks for that link.

Dear Groink and Jholic,

Thank you for answering my questions. Smile I appreciate the time you took to do this.

I didn't know that there were other reasons why torrents get deleted. Unsure Thank you for clearing that up for me. I went ahead and deleted the torrent and the partial file from my computer, based on your response.

Wishing you a wonderful day! cheers

I don't think so. Look at it this way - the English subtitles weren't from the licensee, but regardless we had to remove both the hardsubbed and raws releases. So it isn't anything to do with the language of the subtitles. The video itself is what's licensed. As for My Girl, I don't even see it on the D-Addicts tracker. Remember that the licensing issues only pertains to D-Addicts. If you see stuff like My Girl uploaded elsewhere, that's the site's own kuliana (Hawaiian for "problem").

ChuChulce: i believe it was probably uploaded in error. i do not see 'my girl' in the torrent section. and i do not believe it is allowed in any language.

its sad but i guess if you really think about it, it means asian dramas are slowly reading the west creating the opportunity for more people to watch asian dramas. isnt that what we've wanted all along?

i guess its good for the companies like YM Entertainment to try to promote their products.. but instead of paying a usual price for DVD sets we have to pay out the ass because of the 'import' tax! Cussing

There are many good, outstanding kdrama, that I guess you haven't watched Whistling

This is so unfair Sad Not what you do guys, because I know you don't have any other alternative, but for the people like me in whose country there is no company distributing Asian dramas, not even much people that actually know them indeed. So they start a complain that affect people that can't buy their products unless they order them abroad ¬¬. In that case I could order the original DVDs from Korea, I think I'd rather do that ^^U.

That's bad news.. I saw some dramas that I wanted to watch, but I guess that this would hinder me from watching them.
