Wow thanks for the sub! I couldn't find a subbed version of the live action!
Are there any subs for the Maruko tv series?
If not, i'm happy to help as far as rewriting translated english, correcting grammar, timing.

There are a lot of actual TV episodes, but the only versions available right now are the original japanese, and most of the chinese dubbed on YouTube.
I think there are some VCDs with Hong Kong English subtitles floating out there.
Anyone else have news on English Subs for Maruko?

Unfortunately I can't find any fan subs or dubs of Maruko or any plain japanese versions except on vcd or dvd.
The only subs i've seen are the chinese versions on youtube. =(
I'd be up to checking grammar, spelling, and even doing timing if anyone has the japanese versions ready to be subbed!!
