[Req] [Jiang Hu] Recruiting for all positions!

Jiang Hu the "river lake"(江湖) is a fansubbing team dedicated to subtitling wuxia and period dramas. We noticed a lack of English subtitles in this genre and decided to form a group. The term Jiang Hu (江湖) refers to the pugilistic world in the wuxia stories. In the modern context, it also refers to the mafia circle/environment. You may learn more about this term Here.

We are currently in need of and are recruiting for all positions. These include:

Translators
Timers
Editors (Need to be fluent in English!!)
QC (Quality Control)
Karaoke specialists
GFX/Designers

Just a little hyper and would like to announce that we're also going to provide hardsubs for Young Warriors of the Yang Clan. We found some HQ raws to work with. Woot.

We have run into some problems in obtaining the HQ dvds for Shanghai Bund. If anyone has and is willing to contribute the 14 DVD version of Shanghai Bund (NOT the 6 disc Economy version), please PM me or Athaclena42.

We are still recruiting for the following positions:

Translators -- Must be proficient in Mandarin (and English to a good extent)
Timers -- No experience required. We will teach you how to time.
Editors -- Must have firm grasp of the English language. (Not required to know Mandarin)
QC -- Must know how to improve timing and is proficient in the English language. Needs to be meticulous in your work. (Not required to know Mandarin)
Karaoke Timer -- Needs to do karaoke timing and SFX.
GFX/Designer -- Must be good with image editing software (such as Photoshop). Needs to help us create banners and signatures.

hi,

i've no experience in timing, but i really want to help in that positionapart from wanting to learn something new and starting contributing other than seeding back (hehe). right now i've no free time but after my summer vacation i'm free. that is from october onward. i'll learn quick. if i'm applicable that'll be great. thanks.

@DramaholicxD: As for the SHB dvds, we have already purchased them and they are being delivered right now. We just hope that nothing goes wrong but if something does crop up, then we'll turn to you for help. Is that okay with you?
