I'm on a quest: to find the 100 Most Romantic JRock Songs! Wub

And of course I need help! pinch
I've only started listening to JRock a mere half-year ago, so I am absolutely sure there are lots and lots of romantic things-of-beauty out there that I have no inkling about... Cool

If you'd join me on this quest, I'd be very grateful! Maybe I should first of all define what I mean by "Romantic", but that is virtually impossible, as any student of literature knows only too well... Roll Eyes
Probably what I have in mind is "songs that sweep you off to another world, a world of beauty, imagination, love, melancholy, wistfulness", things of that sort. Roll Eyes

So, I'm looking not necessarily for love-songs, or sad songs, but more like songs with:
- an unforgettable melody
- sound- or word-images that take the listener to a world of "romance"
- a romantic atmosphere, in general
and which are, as the topic title says, JRock Smile

(Maybe an equivalent JPop thread would also be worth a try! I'm aware that these things would have been more appropriate on some Jmusic forums, but d-addicts is the friendliest internet community I have met so far, and that's why I chose to post this here.)

If at all possible, please also share the songs that you are suggesting. After we gather enough material, maybe we could then have a vote to see which are the 100 Most Romantic JRock Songs!

Without further ado then, these are 25 songs I have chosen so far:

If you are a romantic person, I'm sure you are also courteous Smile so, if you take any of the songs posted in this thread, please leave a comment to say you did, and preferably also how you liked them, even if you do not contribute a song as well.

Please feel free to ask me any questions about the songs above: I'll try to answer to the best of my knowledge (which actually isn't too much at all, yet Unsure).

Thank you in advance for your help! Wub

Edit: Yaay, this is my 300th post! cheers

Envy. Definitely Envy. Oh sure, there's a lot of white noise, a lot of screaming, and a lot of well screaming. But there is a reason why people openly weep at their concerts. Emotional hardcore.

Not sure if this is all-time stuff but I think it's good music . . .

FAKE? -- Snow <-- This is Belleza's favorite romantic J-rock song ever.
FAKE? -- Belleza
FAKE? -- Butterfly
Oblivion Dust -- Lullaby
Yutaka Ozaki - Boku ga boku de aru tameni
Yutaka Ozaki -- The Night
Yutaka Ozaki -- I Love You
Southern All Stars -- Tsunami
Southern All Stars -- Manatsu No Kajitsu.
Remioromen -- Konayuki
Remioromen -- Stand By Me
Olivia -- Into the Stars

Not hard "rock" per se but my one and only nominee for ANY kind of J-love song is:

"Dakishimetai" -- Mr.Children

That is all.
