I was wondering when downloading these torrents, is it normal that it's really slow downloading... There's so many peers, but rarely is anyone ever on...?? And when they are on, the rate is like 1-10 kbs at most if lucky. Is this normal??_________________ Ly Bang Bang  |

| It's a Hk drama produced in 1999 starring Lawrence Ng. Does anybody know where I can get it (either by torrent or direct download) and it has to be in Mandarin since I don't understand canto. Thank you so much!!

| @siaosiao: the link still works. i just tried it. if you don't know how to use btchina, please see the tutorial. you can get to it by using the link in my signature or find the link in the first post of this thread. remember to use IE. FF works, but it's unpredictable.

it depends on what torrent you're talking about. there are a lot of factors involved, including the size of the file(s) you're getting, how many seeds there are, how much they are uploading, etc. for a batch torrent that might be very old with few seeds, your speeds may certainly be very slow. however, if you're talking about something with a whole bunch of seeds that is very new, you may need to configure your bittorrent.

well, i think its also depends on the drama (the amount of seeders) itself and also the speed of ur internet connection. I have quite a high speed connection and i still have to wait at least one hour plus minimum for an ep of a drama that has a lot of seeders and peers. 
so, u hav to be patient and if u r downloading by batch, that will take even longer time.
