You're all very welcome! 8thSin told me that he felt we had achieved an especially high level of quality with BusuKoi.
I know some people don't really care about the "quality" of the subs, since they are just using them as "hints", or because they are just watching to pass time and don't really care whether they are getting an accurate idea of what the viewing experience is like for someone who understands the nuances of the dialog.
We always try to go the extra mile and make the subs not just "accurate", but as "flowing" as possible. Sometimes this means taking liberties with word choices, giving up a bit of accuracy in the interest of improving the viewing experience for those (like myself) whose understanding of Japanese is limited. Of course, this means that we use *me* as our test audience, and I may not be the ideal sample audience. Please feel free to criticise our work. You can do it via PM if you don't want to discuss it publicly.
We hope you will enjoy our new project, Haken no Hinkaku. The first epsiode subs will be released within the next couple of days. The show explores the corporate work environment in the days since the collapse of the bubble with humor and empathy. Many of the situations will resonate strongly with anyone who is just entering the workforce, or who has been the victim of corporate reorganisation. The production, script, and acting are all top-notch. We hope you will enjoy the show!
I also want to remind people of something very important. The translators who work on fansubs understand Japanese very well. They don't need to sit down and type out English dialog in order to be able to enjoy these shows. They do this difficult, time consuming, and unpaid work so that you and I can have the wonderful experience of watching dorama. If you enjoy the show, let the translator and his support staff know by thanking them in the forum! It may look like a waste of bandwidth to have a bunch of "thank you's" all piled up, but this is your chance to reward them for their work, and I promise you, they appreciate it!

Well, although I really didn't enjoy the end of that drama, thank you a lot for your hard work. And to jump on your post about subbing, , Pokute, I can honestly say that the quality of the translation, the quality of the English used (which means the presence or not of grammatical mistakes) will affect the way I appreciate the show or not. Ok ok, in the case of Busukoi, it didn't have anything to do with the subs, but with the plot itself, but when I watch a drama poorly translated, whatever effort and time has been put into it, I'll feel bugged off.
Anyway, I look forward to Haken no Hinkaku and send you my thanks, once again, for translating Busukoi.

| @beer - We are going to do the SP, but it has relatively low priority right now. We have a heavy subbing schedule while 8thSin has free time, before he gets back into the grind at school. Fortunately he's a total subbing addict, so were going to cover a lot of ground in a relatively short time. Watch our smoke!

Thanks for the subs! Love busukoi!
Have a slight problem. I still don't get your instructions on how to view the video with soft subs. My player supports avi and ass but I can't see it. Only the raw is shown. no subs. Please help >_<

Ok, I think this came from the same source as the 2 messages above. But converted to SRT and I found it on kloofy.net. From the .nfo file, it looks like it came from the Singapore DVD release that has Chinese, English and Malay subtitles. Usually this doesn't have the best translation. Begger can't be chooser.
Again, not my translation, not my rip, and not my srt conversion. The only thing I did was to re-sync it because there were two sponsor announcements in the DVD version.
