Havent seen this series being posted... so yea here it is Big Smile

From the author of LOCH and ROCH Jing Yong's last novel titled The deer and the cauldron will be released soon (sometimes within the next 6-8month). I think they almost finish shooting it.

Main star is Huang xiao ming (the guy that played Yang guo in ROCH 2006)

Here are links which are r related to series:

I saw all the cast for this series and I'm quite dismay with the female casts for playing all the wives of Huang xiao ming. They aren't all that pretty lolz.

Haha I know I can't judge them by their faces, we'll see how the series is actually is. I bet it'll be a funny one since Huang xiao ming is starring in it. Tongue

I feel pretty much the same. Among the wives, the only one I like is Cherrie Ying.

However, a good cast doesn't guarantee a good drama. Just look at the previous installment of Duke of Mount Deer with Dicky Cheung. Whistling

It started off very good but it became really lame from mid to finish. Their budget is also very low. The only decent fighting scenes are in the first episode with Ekin Cheng. Well, I prefer Jordan Chan's version and of course, the Tony Leung/Andy Lau version which is the best. I also find Jordan Chan's version to be funnier. At least he kills his adversaries due to luck or through devious means. lol

Can't they make a new, original 'historical' series instead of recycling everything? There is way too much regurgitating going on. They need to take heed of the Koreans and their recent 'historical' series.
