anyone know what can i do ?

The yellow light means that you have no current incoming connections. If this never turns green, this means that your port is not forwarded. The best way to check is with the µTorrent port checker, found in the Speed Guide. If the port checker says your port is open, then everything is most likely fine.
The red light means that µTorrent was unable to bind a listening socket. Most likely, this means a firewall is blocking it. It's also possible that another torrent client is using this port, which will require you to change ports, or not run both clients at the same time.

it was green before, because my router was not functioning, so my dad bought a new router.. and after that, my utorrent status light is always yellow then red :[

something abt port is not forwarding properly , so my download rate is sooo slow Crying

anyone know how to fix this problem ?

thanks

Well I assume the old router was configured correctly until it stopped working, but did you remember to configure the new router to open the correct ports (meaning same ports on utorrent and the router?)

Are you talking about µTorrent? Blink
I use µTorrent and as far as I remember, I've never had my torrents yellow. My downloads are blue, which is what they should be, and sometimes they turn red. But as furelise above me wrote, my download-speed aren't affected by that at all either.

As for the upload, THEY are green. And here too they turn red sometimes, but they are uploading anyway...
I just got a little confused here because you're talking about green and yellow Neutral .

However, I can't help you with your problem, happyiegirl, since I don't know much about these things.. But can't you like.. return back to your old router and check what you've done there? Maybe you'll see something.
Hope you'll manage making it work anyway Roll Eyes .

Login to router, go to port forwarding setup page, put range of ports you use for BT and your static IP address. Yes, I said static IP address because if you rely on DHCP of the router to supply your computer with an IP address, then every time you boot your computer, you risk not being assigned the same IP address, and port forwarding will fail. Once you setup your computer with static IP and setup the router port forwarding, and setup your BT client with the correct port(s) then your issue should be resolved. Many internet providers are blocking certain port ranges like 6881 to 6889, the standard BT ports, which in effect shuts down BT, so it is wise to use some other port numbers like 6991 to 6999.

What does "Error opening Windows Firewall: 0x800706D9" mean?

This means that µTorrent was unable to add itself as an exception to the Windows Firewall, using the standard Windows Firewall API. This most likely means that the firewall is disabled or not present. You can safely ignore this error. However, if you have another software firewall, you will still need to manually configure it to allow incoming and outgoing connections.

try this,

uTorrent -> options -> preferences -> connection -> add uTorrent to windows firewall exceptions (Windows XP SP2 or later only)
