To be honest I've been having problems with the subs too. In the first episode they were fine until about halfway through, where suddenly about half of all the subtitles just dropped, like it was never subbed at all. I'm watching episode two now, and they were fine until just before thirty minutes in--every one present and accounted for until then. It's a pretty prominent thing, too, not just a subtitle every so often...

I don't really know what's wrong, but since it's happening to someone else it seems like it's not just me? There must be some reason...

I'd love to download the hardsubs, but unfortunately on a mac I can't use CB. (We can't use IE, and no other browser seems to allow access to CB...) So I'm at a loss as to what to do...

Thank you for all your hard work, though! I really do appreciate it, I don't mean to complain, I'm just very confused as to what's going on.

I actually discovered what the problem was completely by mistake!

It started happening to my Hana Yori Dango softsubs too so I opened up the file to take a look.

I'm not sure where along the line it happened, but the punctuation in some of the lines in the subs ... mutated? I'm not sure exactly how to explain it, but some apostrophes turned into characters like this: í

Other punctuation mutated too. Not everywhere, though. If there was a line with the mutated punctuation, my player (VLC) wouldn't be able to show that subtitle.

I have absolutely no idea why it happened, and I doubt the originals are like that. Anyway, when I went through and replaced the punctuation, everything showed up fine.

I'm really looking forward to episode three, guys, keep up the great work!

(Oh and I can use megaupload, but if files are split into segments I can't put them together, because hjsplit is a pc only program *facepalm* I love macs, but with filesharing they can sometimes be a big pain! No worries though!)
