| well unless you have an intresting packet loss. most common reason of having errors in torrent downloads is bad RAM in your computer.. google for Memtest and run a test on your ram and see if its bad. other then that.. theres a number of factors that lead to corruption

Well finally i've got conclusions, it seems that previous VLC Software have the ability to check INDEX AVI status...and the latest version of VLC somehow doesn't have this feature. so the conclusions yeah this HANA YORI DANGO V2 have INDEX AVI BROKEN and you guys can only notice this, if you guys have the old version of VLC...
hopefully AMRAYU san and other SARS members fix it up and release V3...

change your program to fix this problem ( I use CCCP and media classic player) there's no need for a third version.

Hm... I've tested this file in windows media player 9, VLC 0.8.6a and BS player (the most current one) and all play the file fine.
Usually you get index avi broken messages if you haven't completely downloaded the file or some part of your file is damaged.
Here's the CRC info:
Filename: D:\HYD2\hana_yori_dango2_ep01v2_hdtv[sars].avi
File size: 1076867072
CRC 32: d8a0beb8
Download this program to run a CRC check against the video file you have:
http://www.erikburd.org/projects/crc32/index.html
Your CRC 32 should match what I have posted here.

I think Matilda may be right since I have the correct file size down to the byte. 1.00 GB (1,076,867,072 bytes). However, once I downloaded the newer VLC player, everything worked fine. I'm fine with this since I don't get the broken index error anymore. So, thanks!

File size won't matter because when you download any torrent, your bittorrent sets aside that amount of MB or GB for the file right away (so you'll see the file as 1076867072 bytes, but you may only have 99.9% of the file downloaded)... you need to check the CRC 32. You might have a corrupt block of data somewhere. So, that's one theory.
Another theory is the older VLC player was using older XviD codecs.

Well don't worries about that problem amrayu san, it just a minor error that doesn't annoyed once you used the latest VLC player. don't bother me anyway coz sometimes i'm too demanding about perfection...
however i'm pretty sure the file has index AVI broken, since i've downloaded twice in different good spec computer without less ram or whatever and different software bit comet and azureus. however the result still the same. (got index avi broken if using old version of VLC) and it's ok if using latest version of VLC.
and when i'm downloaded ep.2 that likely is a good avi file...in the computer that i suspect have a less ram. the result is ok, coz basically i guess the file also in good condition.
