&i'll leave u with this small report i made

Biography

BoA is one of the most popular singers both in Korea and Japan. She was selected as a singer by SM Entertainment at the age of 12. She debuted in 2000 with ‘ID: Peace B’ featuring bright dance music with powerful rhythm. Her first single album in Japan was released in 2001. The biggest power of BoA’s success is known to be her powerful talents in both vocal and dance along with the fluency in the Japanese and English languages. Although she was at the age of only 12, her debut had been prepared for several years in various fields not to speak of vocal but also dance and languages. Her debut album focused to the high-teen fans with various dance numbers was a huge success in Korea putting BoA on top of stardom in just days after the release of the album. However, she advanced into the Japanese market with a style just made for the Japanese listeners. Unlike other Korean singers of the times who temporarily visited Japan to introduce their songs for a short while, BoA moved the main stage to Japan working hard to adapt to the new environment and searching for ways to meet the demands of pop music lovers there. Her efforts proved to be a success as, at the end of 2002, BoA was selected among the top 15 pop musicians in Japan. In the same year, she also received the golden artist award at the Best Hit Song Awards in Japan. Since her successful debut in Japan, BoA has been busily going back and forth Korea and Japan to lead her singing career. She has released regular albums every year both in Korea and Japan since her debut along with countless single albums. Now, only at the beginning of her 20s, BoA has a bigger aim. Having conquered the whole of the Asian market, BoA’s next aim is to successfully enter the U.S. market as the leader of the Korean Wave.

Aww. She must feel hurt to hear people disliking her just because she went to another country to do her career. She already has like 5 Korean albums and at the age of 20, that's amazing. She has a few Japanese albums out already and they are good. She is still young and her career is still very long. I think she will go back to Korea soon to continue with her career. But nevertheless, I like her very much <3.

well..i dont really know BOA. i only saw her while searching in youtube. to be honest,, im quite interested wit her though cos ive seen like 2 videos of her and her voice is good. is she just plain singer or she's doin a drama as well? cos most singer in Korea are doin drama too ryt?

In 2005, BoA was given the main lead as Shin Chae Gyung in the rags-to-riches drama, Goong (Palace), but due to her busy schedule, the role was passed on to former Baby V.O.X member, Yoon Eun Hye. (takn from Wikipedia)

but SM Town said that she'd now taking lessons in acting in Japan
so we might see her in drama soon
