LoL it's kind of funny because people like series more because movies are too short. and i do understand how you think that but the reason i love series is because they're short. they tell a story in 45 minutes. it's just you get more stories ^-^

I prefer dramas, they're easier to get into...I just hate how I get easily sucked in. WIth movies, some tend to build up to a really bad ending since there is a time constraint, and they don't develop characters as well. However, it really depends on the director, though; some can actually tie up movies pretty well, and some can also end dramas on a really loose note.

which do you prefer? as much I do like having a lot of material to watch, I still have to go with movie. I dont know if it has something to do with a bigger budget, or that I am a movie buff. Example I watched Taiyou no uta, series and movie. But I still preferred the movie, why? I dont know... maybe I liked the OST better who knows why. Which du people prefer and why?

I usually like movie more, because if it's short enough to be summarized in movie, then there's no point making the drama. I think it depends on which order to watch too... Sometimes if you watch movie first, the drama series get too draggy.

For me...
Densha Otoko: Movie > Series, better cast, great story.
Sekai no Chuushin de Ai wo Sakebu: Series >= Movie, better OST, movie probably had better story, but drama had great bits in between.
Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu: Movie >>> Series, far superior OST, cast, story everything.
Taiyou no Uta: Movie > Series, I couldn't even finish watching the dorama, it was just awful, terrible casting.

i'd have to vote for series.. they go longer and having it split up into episodes adds a certain climax to it Big Smile
