I wonder why you would group Japn and Korea together....don't they have a history of like..umm..bad feelings towards each other to say the least.

Sadly there aren't any jdrama aired on french TV and I can't receive japanese channels even with the satelite Crying

Another Anglo-American Jdrama lover here.

I noticed that earlier in the topic there were a lot of comments about only Asians liking Asian things, hopefully that was what they thought was happening not what should be.

I say that because it reminds me of a poster on a anime forum, the guy might have just been a troll, but he didn't really seem like it, I think he seriously believed what he was saying. He was going on about how non-Asians shouldn't be watching anime because it was made by and for Asians, and non Asians watching Asian shows and listing to Asian music were "stealing" Asian's culture.

The funny (or sad) thing was by his posts you found out that he was a multi-generational American and had never been outside of America, so I really don't see how he had any more of a "right" to watch Japanese anime than any other American.

I think the reason why so few of the ppl here are from jp/korea/china/east asia countries is becos they have no nid to be here.. Why come to a forum to discuss about your own country's drama in a foreign language or dl shows that will be on ur tv? Even in Singapore all the japanese and korean shows are dubbed into mandarin on TV.
